New Releases: What upcoming games are you looking forward to?
Madworld is not one of the best action games I've played, but it was freakin' enjoyable. So enjoyable, I might play it again, and again just for how fun it is. You play as a contestant in the world's most bloodiest game, Deathwatch. Your goal? To kill lots of bad guys in any way you see fit, but it's not just about only killing people. You have to use the environment around you and kill them with tires, signposts, etc., etc. to rack up score. The game controls are tight and responsive ( For the Wii, who da thunk it?) , though you might be tangled up on your Wii Nunchuk cable while using some of the actions you have to do. Some of the few things that Madworld fall short, however, is how short the game is, it took me around 6 to 8 hours finishing the game, since it's also very easy, save for a few boss fights that will annoy the freak out of you. Another thing is the camera, which in a lack of a better word, A FLAMING PILE OF POO. The camera is pretty bad. The voice acting is preety good, especially the commentary through out the game, which deliver much of the game's humor, though it does repeat a lot throughout the game. The graphics is one of the unique things about the game. The world of Madworld is in an amazing world of black and white and red, possibly to overcome the Wii's graphics power, think playing Sin City as a video game, only 100x insane. All in all, for 30 bucks, Madworld is pretty fun game despite it's shortcomings. If you can laugh at how bad guys get killed, dance to the hip-hopish soundtrack, which is one of the best features of the game, an fight all the zany bosses, as you reach to the #1 ranking in Deathwatch!
